Reading this book was a lot of fun. I looked forward to each and every letter written by Sherlock. Seeing daily life through the senses of an obviously adorable dog was uplifting, funny, and throughly enjoyable! I recommend it to everyone.

I was extremely disappointed with this book. Being the "comedians of the dog world" it wasn't really necessary for the writer to attempt to make it funny. The use of incorrect spelling as a method to make the book more amusing became annoying after the first page. Anyone who has owned a Basset knows that their antics are funny enough - there is no need to try and make it any funnier.
