| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description In this sequel to Leo: A Greyhound?s Tale, a retired racer called Leo must exercise his wits to survive the ego-shattering and life-threatening challenges posed by a menacing Rottweiler, a disdainful Pekingese, a seeming reincarnation of Al Capone, a dream visit gone horribly awry, and the Curse of the Ming Vase. Worst of all is his self loathing when in a moment of extreme frustration he is unkind. Lee Livingood, author of Retired Racing Greyhounds for Dummies, said of Leo in China: ?Leo is back. And I'm delighted. . . . It?s been too long since we first met Leo, and I forgot how much I missed him.? Dr. Rodger Barr, veterinarian and founder of Northern Lights Greyhound Adoption, gave Leo in China ?two opposable thumbs up for capturing the special essence of all dogs and what they do for their humans.? And Rory S. Goree, president of Greyhound Pets of America, commented: ?From cover to cover I found myself rooting for Leo, laughing, giggling, and thoroughly entertained.?

A wonderful story for all dog lovers September 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
With great emotional force, this suspenseful and touching book continues the adventures of Leo, a retired racing greyhound. Although Leo in China is a sequel, it stands alone. You don't have to read the first book to understand this one, but you'll miss a lot of fun if you don't. I hope the author is working on a third Leo book.
Leo does it again! August 26, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Leo in China," told from a greyhound's point of view, is filled with humor, suspense, and even romance of the human variety...not surprising as the author has published romance and suspense novels. Her love for and knowledge of dogs is apparent on every page of this book, even when Leo and Duster, a Pekingese, rip each other's ego apart. The human characters, whether good (Dizzy Dozer), bad (Priscilla's uncle), or a complicated mix of both (Al Capone), also are well formed. This is a terrific read. I laughed a lot and read the book slowly, not wanting it to end.
Leo In China A Greyhound's 2nd Tale December 22, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Another "greyt" Leo book! I couldn't put it down. It's a great read for any age. The book stresses the importance of leashes and fensed in yards for the retired greyhound. Very entertaining...I loved Duster! I am glad he and Leo ended up friends!! I'll be waiting for the next episode in the life of Leo!!!
Luv You Too Much November 6, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love Luv You Too Much! Leo In China: A Greyhound's 2nd Tale is another fun, action packed tale of Leo the Greyhound. This story is a whirlwind of thought-talking, stacking and heroic fun. Humorous and smart, a 5 knuckle-in-the-ear-rub read. Thank you Cindy for sharing another Leo adventure!
